Courses

The Practice of Integrity for Nonviolence in Advocacy Meetings - This program is an online course that shows the practice of IFN from a Franciscan perspective and how to consciously practice nonviolence as a facilitator in advocacy meetings. The course includes examples and history of Nonviolence, active reflections, presentations and videos on spirituality, and the core values of creating respect, practicing honesty, promoting justice, and nuturing wholesome relationships. The course requires registration and may be followed at your own pace.

Videos

The Spirituality of Nonviolence - This video is a discussion of the spiritual basis of nonviolence. The See, Judge, and Act Methodology is explored along with the importance of the environment and opportunities for religious and congregations.

Papers

The Spirituality of Nonviolence as Prophetic Witness for Universal Communion: Mission in Conflict Zones and Healing. This paper was given at the Service of Documentation and Study on Global Mission (SEDOS) Residential Seminar in Rome, 2024. The theme of the seminar was "Prophetic witness for universal communion - Mission in conflict zones and healing" which presented from the Biblical, Psychological, and Spiritual perspectvies. The participants from missionary congregations worked to deepen their understanding of mission in relation to situations of conflict with the question "while facing conflict, how to be a prophetic witness?"
