We were happy to have a conversation with Sandra Joireman, PhD, who was a founding member of DGAAN. Dr. Joireman and Sr. Sheila discuss the beginning of DGAAN and their philosophies of nonviolence and how this can apply to advocacy work.

Currently, Dr. Joireman is the Weinstein Chair of International Studies and Professor of Political Science at the University of Richmond. Her research and work are in the areas of international research collaborations on land, law, and post-conflict reconstruction.
